
Usman Khawaja and Camreon Green have negotiated the Indian bowling in style as Australia added 92 runs in the first session of the Day 2 of 4th Test between India and Australia in Ahmedabad.
Khawaja is unbeaten on 150 runs while Cameron Green is nearing is maiden Test hundred, batting on 95 runs off just 135 balls.
It was a cautious start for the Aussie batters on Friday as they dealt with the Indian attack in the first half an hour of the day with utmost alertness. Despite a slow start to the day, Australia didn't lose any wicket and as the time passed, it started getting easier for them.
Cameron Green was the aggressor of the two batters as he took on the Indian bowlers. Althoguh the visitors managed only 20 runs in the first 11 overs, they scored 72 runs in the final 18 overs of the season and made a swift change of gear at the latter stages.

India captain Rohit Sharma used all of his weapons, but was left baffled as they couldn't break the partnership, which is now 177 runs between Khawaja and Green. Both Green and Khawaja were untroubled and dominated the Indian bowling, especially Umesh Yadav who gave away plenty of runs.
Australia are in control at Lunch as they are at 347/4. They will be aiming to pile up a huge score as the batting will get easier in the 2nd session. India, on the other hand, have a huge headache and need a wicket to get themselves back in the game. Indian spinners have been ineffective and have been guilty of bowling some loose deliveries. As the second session approaches, it will be a crucial couple of hours for both teams.
