IND vs AUS: India are set to embark on an exciting white-ball tour of Australia later this year, with Cricket Australia (CA) confirming the schedule on Sunday.

The series will feature three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five T20 Internationals (T20Is) between October 19 and November 8, providing fans with a thrilling contest between two cricketing powerhouses.

The tour will begin with the ODIs, played under lights in Perth, Adelaide, and Sydney. Following the conclusion of the 50-over matches, the teams will shift their focus to the shortest format, with T20Is scheduled in Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Gold Coast, and Brisbane.

This season will be a historic one for Australian cricket, as it marks the first time in 17 years that men's international matches will be held across all eight states and territories. The decision underscores CA's commitment to bringing high-quality cricket to fans across the country.

Reflecting on the success of previous seasons, Cricket Australia's chief executive Todd Greenberg expressed confidence in the continued growth of the sport.

"We smashed many records for attendance, viewing audiences and digital engagement last summer and we're confident that this incredible momentum will continue throughout what promises to be an engrossing season," Greenberg said.

"We are extremely grateful for the cooperation and support of all our government, venue, broadcast and commercial partners who ensure Australia's national sport continues to deliver brilliant experiences in stadiums and drive participation across the country."

India's return to Australian shores follows their triumphant Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in 2024-25, which witnessed record-breaking attendance and viewership. With both teams looking to fine-tune their squads ahead of the T20 World Cup next year in India and Sri Lanka, the T20I series is expected to hold significant importance.
