Another day of a Test between India and Australia, another Jasprit Bumrah masterclass. The India pacer has been excellent at the MCG and showed that on Monday, claiming the final wicket of the Australian innings.
With the wicket, Jasprit Bumrah completed another five-wicket haul, which has taken him up in the elite list of fifers in Test cricket.

Jasprit Bumrah has solidified his place among cricketing legends by surpassing Pakistan great Shoaib Akhtar's record of 12 five-wicket hauls in Test cricket. Bumrah got his 13th five-wicket haul Test against Australia at the MCG.
Bumrah, with 203 wickets in just 44 Tests, has achieved this milestone faster than Akhtar, who claimed 178 wickets in 46 matches. The Indian pacer has also surpassed icons like Sri Lanka's Chaminda Vaas and Australia's Mitchell Johnson, both of whom had 12 five-wicket hauls. He now joins West Indies' Michael Holding and Pakistan's Saqlain Mushtaq, who also registered 13 five-fers in their illustrious careers.
Bumrah's brilliance with the ball was pivotal at the MCG, where he picked up nine wickets in the match, taking his tally in the ongoing series to 30. His relentless accuracy and deadly yorkers were instrumental in India's dominant performance.
The Indian pacer has picked up 30 wickets in the Border Gavaskar Trophy so far, which is by far the most by a bowler in the Test series. Bumrah also led the Indian team to a victory in Perth in the first Test.
