India captain Jasprit Bumrah added his name to another unique list on Day 1 of the first Test between India and Australia in Perth.
The first day at the Optus Stadium witnessed the domination from the bowlers, which yielded 17 wickets.

India was far from the best and got skittled for a paltry 150 runs. Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy were the only players with decent scores as others faltered in front of the Aussie pacers. But the home batters have faced a similar issue, tottering at 67 for 7 at the end of the day's play.
India captain Jasprit Bumrah was at his impeccable best yet again, picking up 4 wickets so far in the first innings of the match. Bumrah bamboozled the Australian batters and provided the early breakthroughs for India.
He got the wickets of three of their top four batters - Usman Khawaja, Nathan McSweeney and Steve Smith. Bumrah later also got his opposite number Pat Cummins. But the Indian speedster's wicket of Steve Smith has earned him a place on a unique list.
Bumrah's achievement of dismissing Smith for a golden duck placed him among an elite bowler. Former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn is the only bowler to have picked up Steve Smith in first ball in a Test match, which happened more than a decade ago. Notably, Smith had not been dismissed for zero in a Test match for over ten years, which itself is a big coup for the India pacer.
Bumrah's four wickets means the 30-year-old now has 177 Test wickets. Along with Bumrah, Harshit Rana got his maiden international scalp as he took the wicket of Travis Head.
Smith's counterpart Virat Kohli also had a brief stay at the crease. Kohli scored only 5 runs off 12 deliveries and lost his wicket cheaply. The India stalwart also dropped a simple catch of Marnus Labuschagne.
