India star batter, KL Rahul's heroics on Day 4 of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 3rd Test between India and Australia on Tuesday, became the talk of the day.

His elegant strokeplay with solid defensive technique and intelligent shot selection while leaving deliveries grabbed everyone's attention, when most of the top Indian batters failed to live up to the mark.

The opener endured a few blows to his body and had luck on his side when he was dropped off the very first ball on Day 4.

Capitalizing on the opportunity, the 32-year-old reached his well-earned fifty in 85 deliveries. Rahul appeared on course for a deserved century, but his innings was cut short when Steve Smith pulled off a stunning catch to bring an end to his gritty knock at 84 runs.

The Delhi Capitals was the silver lining in India's woeful batting display. The fans stormed to social media and just can't stop drooling over the India batter as he made things count when it mattered.

Rahul's valiant knock made it sure India were in a better spot heading into lunch on Day 4. India just lost 2 wickets so far till now on Day 4, first it was captain Rohit Sharma on 10 followed by the former Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) man. At the time of writing this article, the visitors were at 180/6 with Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravindra Jadeja at the crease.
