India's woes on Day 3 of the 4th Test against Australia has compounded early on the day.
Rishabh Pant, the key batter of the team, has departed after scoring 28 runs in Melbourne, failing to capitalize on another start. And how Pant lost his wicket is shocking as well.

It was a magnificent start from Rishabh Pant, who started the proceedings on the day with a boundary. Pant came down the track and hit Pat Cummins for a boundary to kickstart the day. The southpaw was looking comfortable and it seemed a big knock is finally arriving from Pant's willow.
But Rishabh Pant has failed to capitalize on his blistering start. The southpaw attempted an outrageous shot and threw away his wicket. In Scott Boland's delivery, an attempted scoop shot found only a top edge and Pant got caught at Third man. Despite getting runs with conventional shots, a needless attempt to improvise has lost Pant his wicket.
The Indian wicketkeeper has had a tough outing in Australia so far. After the first six innings, the 27-year-old has only managed 124 runs, at a very modest average of 20.67. And the way he has lost his wicket in Melbourne is silly. Although the India player scores a lot of runs with unconventional shots, the need of the day was perhaps to play textbook shots and build a partnership with Ravindra Jadeja.
India, at the moment, are 220 for 6 as Nitish Reddy and Ravindra Jadeja are at the crease. Rohit Sharma's men will have to score 55 more runs to avoid a follow-on in Melbourne.
