India will be looking to bounce back in the Border Gavaskar Trophy as they take on Australia in the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne.
After the first three matches, the series is tied 1-1 and India's win is imperative if they are to qualify for the World Test Championship Final next year.

Ahead of the Melbourne match, team India is contemplating changes both in the batting order and perhaps in the team sheet as well. Rohit Sharma is set to open the batting for India after his middle-order outing in the past two matches.
The India captain has had a dismal series so far and will be aiming to return to form at the top of the order. Despite KL Rahul's impeccable form, he may have to drop down at no. 3, which in turn has jeopardized Shubman Gill's position in the team.
Shubman Gill, who has been India's regular no. 3, may be dropped in Melbourne. The India batter has so far scored only 60 runs at an average of 20, which is far away from the expectations. Gill, with his lack of form, may find himself out of the team. Dhruv Jurel may be slotted in at the middle order to compensate Gill's departure from the team.
After Ravichandran Ashwin's retirement, team India is short of spin options. Nitish Reddy has been a bright spark for the visitors both with bat and ball, but as per reports, he can be replaced by Washington Sundar if the think tank decides to opt for a second spinner in Melbourne.
Ashwin's retirement was abrupt after the Brisbane Test, but team India has already called in Tanush Kotian for the Sydney Test. The Mumbai spinner has been included ahead of Axar Patel, who recently had his first child.
Team India is likely to go with three pacers and no change is expected in that front. Jasprit Bumrah will spearhead the attack along with Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep.
