India have scored a mountain of runs in the 2nd T20I against Australia on Sunday (November 27).
After being put into bat by Matthew Wade, the hosts have racked up 235 for 4 in their 20 overs, thus showcasing excellent batting prowess at the Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum.

And with the score, this is the first time the top three of the Indian batting unit have scored 50+ runs in a T20I match.
It was a fantastic display from the youngsters who started their destructive batting from the very first ball. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave them an excellent start. Jaiswal scored 53 runs off just 25 balls (9 fours, 2 sixes), whereas vice-captain Gaikwad scored 58 off 43 balls (3 fours, 2 sixes).
The number three batter Ishan Kishan was excellent with the bat as he managed a fifty of his own. Kishan amassed 52 off just 32 balls, hitting 3 fours and 4 sixes in the process.
Although two of the first three players have gone past 50 runs in the same match, this is the first time for India where all three at the top have got a half-century to their names.
This is also the fifth time the top three have scored 50+ runs in a T20I match as India become only the 2nd full ICC member to do so after Australia. Along with India and Australia, Bermuda, Canada and Belgium are the only countries to have the same record.
