IND vs AUS Toss Update, 4th T20I: India vs Australia Playing 11, Captain's Quotes, Pitch Report

IND vs AUS Toss, Playing 11 Update for 4th T20I: Australia captain Mitchell Marsh opted to bowl first after winning the toss against India at the Carrara Oval in Queensland on November 6, 2025 (Thursday).

IND vs AUS Toss

After winning the toss, Mitchell Marsh said: We are going to bowl first. We don't play a lot here. It is great to be here, will try to get as much information about the surface as we can. It is great, five-match series going down to the last two games, both teams will be pumped. We have four changes - Zampa, Maxwell, Philippe and Dwarshuis come in for four other guys.

Meanwhile India captain Suryakumar Yadav said: This is what you play bilaterals for, you challenge yourself and it is a beautiful stadium, everything to play for. The preparation has been good. We had a day off, had a good practice session yesterday, looks like a subcontinent wicket, later on it might get slower so we are happy to bat first. We were looking to bat first. Looks similar to Indian conditions, put runs on the board and we want to take up that challenge. We are going with the same team.

IND vs AUS Playing XI

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill(c), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul(w), Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh.

Australia (Playing XI): Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh(c), Matthew Short, Josh Philippe(w), Matt Renshaw, Cooper Connolly, Mitchell Owen, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Ellis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Josh Hazlewood.

IND vs AUS Pitch Report

The Carrara Oval in Queensland is likely to offer plenty of runs for the batters. Fast bowlers, however, could find some assistance early on, with the new ball expected to move around in the initial overs. Once the shine fades, though, the surface should settle nicely, making it favourable for stroke play and high-scoring partnerships.
