Australia has announced the inclusion of Beau Webster in the final match against India in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
The two teams will lock horns in the 5th Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Cricket Australia confirmed that Webster will be making his debut, replacing Mitchell Marsh.

The Australian team is already leading the series 2-1 and will be aiming to finish on a high. After Sam Konstas' debut in the last match in Melbourne, Webster is set to step into international cricket at the turn of the new calendar year.
Beau Webster is an Australian cricketer widely regarded for his versatility as an all-rounder. Born on December 1, 1993, in Hobart, Tasmania, Webster has built a strong reputation in domestic cricket.
Standing at an impressive height of 6'7" (201 cm), he brings a unique physical presence to the game, which enhances his batting, bowling, and fielding abilities. Known for his calm demeanor on the field, he has become a reliable player for Tasmania and various T20 franchises.
Webster represents Tasmania in Australia's domestic circuit and has been a consistent performer in all formats of the game. He is particularly renowned for his performances in the Big Bash League (BBL), where he plays for the Melbourne Stars. As a right-handed batter, Webster can adapt his game to different situations, whether it's anchoring the innings or finishing with explosive strokes in the shorter formats. Additionally, he contributes with his right-arm off-spin, which has proven to be a handy bowling option in T20 cricket.
Webster's towering height is a defining aspect of his game. As a batter, his height gives him the advantage of an extended reach, allowing him to play shots over a wide arc, especially against spinners. His ability to bowl off-spin with subtle variations makes him a dual threat, capable of filling the role of a part-time bowler or a specialist spinner when needed.
