IND vs AUS: Why are India players wearing Black Armbands?

The Indian players were seen wearing black armbands because of Dr. Manmohan Singh. The former India Prime Minister passed away at the age of 92 on late Thursday night in Delhi. He was admitted to AIIMS emergency due to loss of consciousness in the evening but the doctors couldn't resuscitate the veteran.

"Resuscitative measures were started immediately at home. He was brought to the Medical Emergency" at 8:06 p.m., a statement from AIIMS said, but "despite all efforts, he could not be revived and was declared dead at 9:51 p.m."

Dr. Manmohan served as India's Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, and was the pioneer of Economic Reform in the country in the 1990s.

In reply, India is 51 for 2 at Tea of Day 2. India captain Rohit Sharma departed for just 3 runs and KL Rahul has also been dismissed on the stroke of Tea.
