A star-studded guest list, featuring political figures, cinema stars and sports stars, is expected to witness the India vs Australia ICC World Cup 2023 final clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (November 19).
Rohit Sharma's unbeaten Indian side head into the title clash on the back of an impressive semi-final 1 win against New Zealand, extending their winning streak to 10 in the tournament.

Pat Cummins' Australia, on other hand, defeated South Africa in a closely-knit semi-final 2 to extend their unbeaten run to eight. The record five-time champions had suffered two successive losses before they went on a winning run.
Now, the high-voltage clash in Ahmedabad is expected to be graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is likely to be the guest of honour, while World Cup-winning captains Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kapil Dev were also expected to grace the occasion.
However, the 1983 World Cup-winning captain revealed that he was not invited for the World Cup final in Ahmedabad. The former skipper revealed BCCI has invited him to ABP News.
Apart from the aforementioned names, several political figures, the cricketers families, ex cricketers and stars from the cine field from across the country are also likely to attend the match.
Also, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Zaka Ashraf and other countries board representatives also are expected to be in attendance for the high-voltage clash, as per reports.
The semi-final between India and New Zealand saw football legend David Beckham, superstar Rajnikanth and bollywood stars Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, John Abraham and Ranbir Kapoor were among the special guests to witness the match in Mumbai.
Several of them including Rajnikanth, who is one of the recipient of the Golden ticket, may be in attendance for the final as well alongside Indian icon Sachin Tendulkar, who is ICC Global Ambassador for the Cricket World Cup 2023.
The family members of all Indian cricketers and Hardik Pandya, who was ruled out of the tournament due to injury, like in Mumbai during the semi-final, will most likely be in Ahmedabad also to cheer on his teammates.
Additionally, leading politicians, members of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and the top brass from ICC (International Cricket Council) will also be in attendance alongside some state association representatives.
As it stands, every name above is confirmed to attend the IND vs AUS World Cup 2023 final match, but they are all expected to be part of the guest list on Sunday (November 19) with more names will be confirmed in the lead up to the match.
A lot of entertainment has been planned for the capacity crowd and there will be a special air show on the day of the final too with an air show followed by performances from Pritam Chakraborty and Aditya Gadhavi likely to be performing in a potential closing ceremony.
