Sunil Gavaskar reveals 'worry' for this person amid IND vs AUS World Cup 2023 Final

India are up against Australia in the Grand Finale of the World Cup 2023 today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The two cricketing giants are locking horns in an ultimate clash and the winner of this match will be crowned as the world champions for this edition.

Although India and Australia have a lot hanging in balance, India legend and current cricket commentator, Sunil Gavaskar, said he was worried for one of his fellow commentators before the final in Ahmedabad.

IND vs AUS World Cup 2023

Sunil Gavaskar came into commentary after the 20th over and along with Harsha Bhogle, the duo discussed about the closing ceremony of the World Cup 2023. The spectators at the stadium witnessed a thrilling 'Salute in the Sky' before the match.

Indian Air Force's Suryakiran Acrobatic Team, led by Flight Commander Sidesh Kartik showcased an enthralling air show. The nine-hawk acrobatic display was spread across the stadium, coupled with a piece of intense music.

And speaking on that, Sunil Gavaskar hailed the Indian air force and said one of them came so close that he was worried for fellow commentator Ian Bishop.

"And one of them came so close, I was a bit worried.. worried for Ian Bishop. Such a tall man he is..," Gavaskar said during commentary.

Ian Bishop is present as a part of the commentary panel and Gavaskar here jokingly spoke on Bishop's height as if the planes could have flown too close to Bishop's head.

India made a superb start after Australia captain Pat Cummins put them to bat first. Captain Rohit Sharma gave them a flying start, but then the hosts lost a couple of wickets quickly and were 82 for 3 at one stage. But things have gone better for them as Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are steering them towards safety with a decent partneship.
