IND vs BAN 1st T20I: India and Bangladesh are all set to lock horns in the first T20I of the three-match series at the Madhavrao Scindia International Cricket Stadium in Gwalior on Sunday, October 6. This will be India's first match at the venue.
The last time India played a match in Gwalior was in February 2010. Captain Roop Singh Stadium was the venue used earlier in Gwalior. India played their last match in the Madhya Pradesh City at the same venue.

In the match, second of a three-match ODI series, India thrashed South Africa by 153 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead. The match witnessed India finish their innings at 401/3 after electing to bat first in the day-night fixture.
Nine of the 11 players who featured in the match have retired from all the three formats of international cricket. The remaining two - Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja - announced their retirement from T20Is in June.
The match witnessed Sachin Tendulkar become the first batter in history to hit an ODI double hundred. He scored unbeaten 200 runs off 147 balls. Then India captain MS Dhoni also remained unbeaten on 68 off 35. Dinesh Karthik batted at number three in the match and chipped in with 79 off 85 balls.
Talking about the South Africa bowling unit, Dale Steyn leaked 89 runs in 10 overs without taking any wicket. Wayne Parnell picked two wickets but conceded 95 runs in 10 overs. Charl Langeveldt also gave away 70 runs without a wicket in as many overs.
In reply, 248 is all South Africa could manage before getting bundled out in 42.5 overs. South Africa were reduced to 134/7, as all the big names including captain Jacques Kallis, Herschelle Gibbs, Hashim Amla, Mark Boucher, and JP Duminy were sent back to the pavilion.
AB de Villiers fought a lone battle and scored unbeaten 114 runs off 101 balls. India bowlers did a tremendous job as a unit. Pacers picked wickets upfront before spinners joined the party.
Ashish Nehra, Yusuf Pathan and Ravindra Jadeja picked two wickets apiece, while S Sreesanth dismissed three South Africa batters. Pravin Kumar also clean bowled Herschelle Gibbs in the third over.
