For the record, both Ashwin and Warne currently have 37 fifers to their names. If Ashwin manages to grab one more fifer in the Kanpur Test, he will claim the second-most five-wicket hauls in Test cricket history, which would place him behind only Muttiah Muralitharan, who holds the record with an astounding 67 fifers.

2. On the cusp of Becoming India's leading Wicket-Taker vs Bangladesh: Ashwin has already proved that he is worth the weight in gold as a bowler against Bangladesh. Overall, he has accounted for 29 dismissals against the opponent in Tests so far.

Meanwhile, he is now just 3 wickets away from surpassing Zaheer Khan's tally of 31 wickets to become India's leading wicket-taker against Bangladesh in Tests.
