Virat Kohli has already joined the Indian team training ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh.
The Indian stalwart arrived in Chennai ahead of the Tests and is going to play a key part in the series.

On Sunday, Kohli took part in team training and was at his magnificent best at the Chepauk Stadium. Kohli showcased his batting skills during practice, hitting shots exquisitely across both sides.
And during that, Kohli hit one massive six, which struck the Chepauk wall, just beside the dressing room. The Indian batter's ferocious shot had such power that it broke the wall of the stadium.
JioCinema shared a video on their website which highlighted Kohli's massive six. The Indian batter was later seen having a lengthy chat with head coach Gautam Gambhir.
Kohli will be playing his second match of this year. The Indian stalwart didn't feature in the England series earlier this year. The 35-year-old scored 172 runs across four innings in the South Africa series, whereas his last century came in 2023 against the West Indies.
As Kohli steps onto the field for the Bangladesh series, an elusive achievement awaits him. The Indian batter requires only 58 runs to reach 27,000 runs in international cricket, which will make him the quickest to score it, breaking the record of Sachin Tendulkar.
The Indian team does have a huge opportunity to consolidate their place at the summit of the WTC points table. The first Test is in Chennai, followed by the second match in Kanpur. Bangladesh have never won a Test against India in 13 attempts, but the Tigers will be buoyed with confidence after slaying Pakistan in the two-match Test series.
