IND vs BAN 2nd T20I: Suryakumar Yadav is one of the most explosive batters in T20I cricket. Over the years, he showcased his ability to score runs at a rate of knots, which made him a marquee player for India in the shortest format.
The cricket fraternity has witnessed him change the course of a match in just a few deliveries, courtesy of his innovative shots and super explosive approach. During the T20I opener against Bangladesh, he showcased his aggressive intent right from the start.

He chipped in with a quickfire 29 off just 14 balls, wherein he struck 2 fours and 3 sixes at a blistering strike rate of 207.14. India won the first T20I by 7 wickets and took the first lead in the series.
The second T20I between India and Bangladesh will kick off on October 9, Wednesday at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium, Delhi (7:30 PM). Meanwhile, Suryakumar will be eager to carry that momentum into the second T20I. As he heads into the next game, he has several milestones within his reach.
As things stand, Suryakumar has accumulated 2,461 runs in just 72 T20Is. He needs only 54 more runs to go past former Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, who scored 2,514 runs in 119 T20Is. If India's T20I captain manages to reach this mark in the second game, he will move up the ranks.
The Mumbai-born cricketer has hit as many as 20 T20I half-centuries to his name and is tied up with former New Zealand cricketer Martin Guptill. If Sky hits a half-century in the second T20I, it would push him past Guptill in fifties' tally in the shortest format.
Another milestone the 34-year-old is eyeing is going past England's Alex Hales in terms of the number of fours smashed in T20Is. The former England international has hit 225 fours in T20Is whereas Suryakumar has 222 fours to his name. The right-hander needs 4 more fours in the next game to leap past Hales.
