Ravindra Jadeja joined elusive company with his 300th wicket in Test cricket as the Indian left-arm spinner achieved an all-round double record during the second Test against Bangladesh on Monday (September 30).
Jadeja achieved the feat when he decieved Bangladesh tail-ender off his own bowling and completed a caught and bowled to end the Bangladesh innings at 233 on day 4 of the rain-hit Kanpur Test at the Green Park Stadium.

The 35-year-old joined some elusive company with the dismissal. Having scored 3122 runs with the bat in the longest format, Jadeja became the second fastest to complete an all-round record of 3000 runs and 300 wickets.
Jadeja overtook greats like Imran Khan, Kapil Dev and Sir Richard Hadlee to become the second quickest in terms of matches to reach all-round double record. Former England all-rounder Ian Botham holds the record for the fastest to achieve this double feat.
The southpaw also became the third Indian to claim 300 wickets or more in Test cricket with his latest scalp. Jadeja joins Anil Kumble, Kapil Dev, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma and Zaheer Khan in the Indian 300-wickets club. Here is a look at the list:
Jadeja is also the third left-arm spinner in the world after former Sri Lanka spinner Rangana Herath (433 wickets) and former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori (366 wickets) to claim 300 or more wickets in Test cricket.
