IND vs BAN: The second and last Test match between India and Bangladesh is in focus because of multiple reasons. One of the stands at the Green Park has been deemed unsafe, the pitch is in focus as always, and also there are good chances of rain on the first two days of the Test match.
Also Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has been called in to form a three-layered security for both the teams. The security agencies are also on their toes apart from the local Kanpur police.

The Hindu Mahasabha has threatened to protest during the match against the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh. Just a month ago Sheikh Hasina had to resign as Bangladesh PM and flee from the country after a protest turned violent, and a mob gatecrashed and looted her official residence.
Later, pictures and videos of Bangladeshi Hindus being attacked by miscreants, and temples being burnt also surfaced. Indian PM Narendra Modi recently appealed to Muhammad Yunus. the new interim leader of Bangladesh, to ensure the safety of Hindu and other minority communities in the neighbouring country.
India will be playing a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh after the second Test. The first match will be held in Gwalior in MP on October 6, and the Hindu Mahasabha has already called for a bandh on the date.
“From hotel to the ground, we have given the task to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) to form a three-layered security for both teams,” Kanpur Police Commissioner Harish Chander told reporters.
“The police are alert about the situation in Bangladesh. Tight security arrangements have been made for the match. We are taking inputs from the intelligence agencies. If anyone tries to protest, action will be taken accordingly,” he added.
The Bangladesh cricket team received a warm welcome in Kanpur on Tuesday and had their first net session at Green Park on Wednesday. They are looking to win the second Test and avoid a 2-0 whitewash at the hands of India.
