In the IND vs BAN 3rd T20I, Sanju Samson decimated the Bangladeshi bowlers with a century in just 40 deliveries, helping India post a gigantic total of 297 runs in the first innings at Hyderabad.

The 29-year-old batter played one of the finest innings of his life, scoring 111 runs in 47 balls aided by eight sixes and 11 boundaries. He was finally dismissed by a slower ball from Mustafizur Rahman, but the damage was done by them, leaving Bangladesh needing to chase an improbable target of 298 runs in the second innings.

Sanju Samson's batting prowess sparked a meme fest from Indian fans on social media, with viewers putting a humourous spin on the scintillating batting display.

One Indian fan posted a meme with the caption: "Sansu Samson show 🤩🔥", showing the batter taking inspiration from a photograph of Rohit Sharma.

Interestingly, Samson's 40-ball century is the fastest hundred scored by an Indian player in T20I matches. The record is held by Rohit Sharma, who scored a hundred in 35 deliveries against Sri Lanka in 2017.

Another hilarious meme showed Sanju Samson with a bow and arrow, and the Bangladeshi team in the form of the demon king Ravana. "How Sanju Samson celebrated Dusshera," the caption read.

The result was particularly impressive considering that Samson was suffering from a patch of poor form in recent times, which had called his national team inclusion into question. However, his batting masterclass on Sunday put all doubts aside, and one meme encapsulated the situation best.

The Indian fans clearly enjoyed the flurry of maximums, with one meme showing Sanju's treatment of Hossain's balls similar to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock.
