Nitish Kumar Reddy and Mayank Yadav were very proud of fulfilling a dream after the duo made their Team India debut in the first T20I against Bangladesh on Sunday (October 6) in Gwalior.
Men in Blue led by Suryakumar Yadav bowled out Bangladesh for 127 before chasing down the target with 7 wickets and 8.1 overs to spare at the New Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium. With the win, India went 1-0 up in three-match series.

The two youngsters came into the limelight during the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year, when Mayank turned up for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Nitish Kumar represented Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Speedster Mayank, who started his international career with a maiden, claimed 1 wicket and conceded 21 runs in his quota of four overs, during which he consistently bowled over 140kmph with the fastest delivery of 149.9kmph.
Following the match, the 22-year-old Mayank, who made his much-anticipated debut for India, said that though he was nervous, he told himself to stay calm in a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
"Great moment because I am coming from an injury. I was very nervous. I was telling myself not to get stressed and be nervous. But when I got to know I was playing the first game, those last four months flashed before my eyes," said Mayank.
Fellow youngster Nitish, who missed out on making his debut earlier this year in Zimbabwe, also reacted to playing in India colours for the first time saying, "big and proud moment".
"It is a big moment for us. For any player in India, it is a big moment to play for the country. It is a dream come true. The nervousness was there. But I enjoy the nervousness and pressure situations. It was a proud moment for me and family," Nitish said.
On his debut, all-rounder Nitish, who bowls right-arm medium pace, went wicketless finishing with figures of 0 for 17 overs. With the bat, he made an unbeaten 16 off 15 balls and saw India home along with Hardik Pandya.
Nitish and Mayank will hope to retain their place in the playing 11 for the next outing when India take on Bangladesh in the second T20I on Wednesday (October 9) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
