The Indian cricket team will be up against Bangladesh in the 2nd Test of the two-match series at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
After a scintillating victory in Chennai, India's aim is to complete a whitewash whereas Bangladesh will be desperate to find an equalizer.

Although India were heads and shoulders above the visitors in Chennai, there were a significant early crack which Bangladesh failed to cut open. India lost quick wickets on the first day of the Chennai Test, and it was a tremendous partnership from Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja which took India to the safe zone.
As the trip now takes place in Kanpur, India will be hoping to continue their merry run. At the Green Park Stadium, team India have played 23 Tests, winning only 7 out of them. They have lost three matches whereas 13 matches have ended in a draw.
India's previous Test encounter in Kanpur came in 2021, when they played New Zealand in the month of November.
Neither Rohit Sharma nor Virat Kohli played in that match as Ajinkya Rahane captained India. After winning the Toss, India decided to bat first.
Shubman Gill scored a fifty whereas debutant Shreyas Iyer scored a fantastic hundred as India posted 345 runs in their first innings. New Zealand were bundled out for 296 runs and Axar Patel managed a five-fer with his crafty bowling. In the second innings, the hosts scored 235 and Iyer was again the highest scorer with 65 runs. The Kiwis then fought an uphill battle and somehow prevailed on the final day. After playing 98 overs, they finished at 165 for 9 and somehow saved the match as it ended in a stalemate.
Shreyas Iyer was awarded as the Player of the Match for his brilliant batting performance. This was the first Test of that series.
