IND vs BAN: With just a week left before the start of the two-match Test series against India, Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das has made a statement, and said that the 2-0 win in Pakistan is already a thing of the past.
Litton Das played a key role in the recently-concluded Test series in Pakistan. He scored a match-winning hundred in the first innings of the second Test after Bangladesh were reduced to 26/6 in reply to Pakistan's 274. Bangladesh ended up winning the Test by six wickets despite rain washing off the Day 1 play.

In the first Test, veteran batter Mushfiqur Rahim scored 191 runs as Bangladesh finished at 565 after Pakistan declared their first innings at 448/6. The hosts were bundled out for 146 in the first innings as Bangladesh chased down a 30-run target in 6.3 overs to win the match by 10 wickets. It was their first-ever Test match win against Pakistan.
Litton Das has urged the local media to not repeatedly talk about Bangladesh's first-ever Test series win against Pakistan. He said that everyone would have to move on, and focus on the challenging series against India.
"We have played very well against Pakistan. That is already in the past," Litton told reporters at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.
"Obviously, very important (to leave the Pakistan series behind) and you (media) also need to help a bit. It would be better if you don't talk too much about the Pakistan series. There is a big challenging series ahead (against India). For me as a player, that is in the past (Pakistan Series). But we definitely gained confidence from that," Das, who scored 194 runs in two matches at an average of 97, and emerged as Bangladesh's second-highest run-scorer in the series, added.
The 29-year-old said India are a very strong team in their home conditions. He also pointed out that India are the second-ranked Test team, and hold the top spot in WTC standings.
"When we play India at their home, they are always the better side. I wouldn't say it will be extremely challenging or very easy. They are a very good team in their own conditions. If you look at the rankings, they are so high up. So I think it will be a challenging series for us," he said.
