Rohit Sharma, the prolific Indian opener, has recently surpassed the 11,000-run milestone in One Day Internationals (ODIs) in the match against Bangladesh on Thursday (February 20).
The India captain has become only the 10th batter in the world to reach the milestone, solidifying his position among cricket's elite batsmen.

This achievement places him in an exclusive club of players who have reached this landmark, highlighting his consistency and prowess in the limited-overs format. He is only the 4th Indian player to reach the 11000-mark as well, after Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly.
Sachin Tendulkar: The "Master Blaster" holds the record for the most ODI runs, amassing 18,426 runs over a 23-year career. His elegant stroke play and numerous records have made him a cricketing legend.
Virat Kohli: Known for his aggressive and consistent batting, Kohli has accumulated 13,963 runs, making him one of the most formidable batsmen in modern cricket. The India stalwart is just 37 runs away from 14,000 ODI runs.
Sourav Ganguly: The former Indian captain scored 11,221 runs, renowned for his leadership and elegant left-handed batting. Rohit will have the opportunity to surpass Ganguly in the series.
