By Shashank Gupta

IND vs BAN: Sara Tendulkar was spotted watching the India vs Bangladesh match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Friday, October 19. Sara's father Sachin Tendulkar is the Global Ambassador for the Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.

Sachin made his presence felt during the India vs Pakistan clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. He also sat in the commentary for a brief period and talked about the rivalry between the arch-rivals.

Sara Tendulkar has been spotted at a stadium in the ongoing World Cup 2023 for the first time. India will play against Sri Lanka in Mumbai on Friday, November 3, but Sara made the most of the opportunity by travelling for 150 kms from Mumbai and experiencing a World Cup match in Pune.

In the match, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first. In the absence of Shakib Al Hasan, Najmul Hossain Shanto is leading the Bangladesh side. They posted 256/8 in 50 overs after a 93-run opening stand between Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das.

Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja picked two wickets each. Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav also chipped in with a wicket each.

India would now be hoping for a strong start from openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma. Shubman Gill, who missed the first two matches due to dengue, could manage to score only 16 off 11 against Pakistan.

India have won each of their first three matches and a comprehensive win in Pune can help them regain the top spot in the 10-team ODI World Cup 2023 points table.
