India is likely to rest a number of players for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh.
India will face Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series starting on October 6 in Gwalior, followed by matches in Delhi and Hyderabad.

Star Indian opener Shubman Gill, who missed out on the T20 World Cup squad, is set to be rested for this series. With Test matches against New Zealand and Australia on the horizon, Gill has been tipped to make way for other players in the series.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to rest key players like Gill to manage their workload effectively.
"Yes, Shubman will be rested for the Bangladesh T20I series. If you look at the fixture, the three T20Is will be played on October 7, 10, and 13. Now the first Test vs New Zealand starts on October 16. "So with a turnaround of three days, it is important to give Gill a break," a BCCI source said to PTI.
Gill, who has been handed over the vice-captaincy, is likely to not travel to South Africa for the T20I series as well. With the 25-year-old not in action, that is likely to provide opportunities for some of the fringe players.
Yashasvi Jaiswal looks set to be included and the southpaw can be paired with Ruturaj Gaikwad at the top of the order. Abhishek Sharma is also in contention to open the batting for India in the T20I series. If Rishabh Pant is given a breather, that can likely open up a slot for Ishan Kishan, who is capable of batting at the top as well.
Apart from Gill, a few others are also set to miss out on the Bangladesh T20Is. This includes pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, who will also be given rest as part of workload management. The selectors are keen on preserving their fitness for longer formats.
