IND vs BAN Test Series 2024: India host Bangladesh for 2 Tests, which will be part of the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. The first of the 2-Tests series will be staged at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from Thursday (September 19).

The second and final Test will be hosted at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from September 27. This will be the first time Bangladesh play red ball games at the two venues, but have toured India for Test matches at other venues.

In 13 Tests, Bangladesh has never managed to beat India either in their own backyard or at home. They managed to draw 2 Tests at home in 2007 and 2015 respectively. But the Bangla Tigers have lost 11 Tests against India.

In the most recent Test meeting between the two sides, India registered back-to-back wins to complete a 2-0 series white-wash in Bangladesh two years ago in Bangladesh. Even in their last visit to India for Tests, Bangladesh suffered massive innings defeats in 2019.

However, Najmul Hossain Shanto's side will be confident heading into the upcoming series, having stunned Pakistan away from home in their recent red ball outing, which ended in a historic 2-0 win.
