After a couple of months of red ball action, Team India look to get back to winning ways in the white ball. India and England begin the five-match T20I series with the opener in Kolkata's iconic Eden Gardens on Wednesday (January 22).
Men in Blue will see several new faces from their last outing at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as Suryakumar Yadav returns to captain the T20I side that also includes the likes of Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, Axar Patel and Mohammed Shami to name a few fresh additions.

Meanwhile, the likes of Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar and Harshit Rana are the only players, who are set to resume action after just a few days' break from their tour Down Under.
The Indian side very much looks familiar from their previous shortest format assignments with Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Abhishek Sharma, Rinku Singh, Varun Chakravarthy and Tilak Varma also finding a place in the squad.
Jos Buttler will lead a strong opposition as the Bazball era under Brendon McCullum is set to make it's arrival in T20 format for the visitors with several IPL stars in their line up, making for a highly anticipated series.
Phil Salt, Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook, Ben Duckett, Jofra Archer and Liam Livingstone will be some of the T20 talents to watch. Star Sports, the official broacasters for the India vs England series have added more hype to the T20Is by revealing their commentary panel for the series opener.
The legends Ravi Shastri and Sunil Gavaskar will be commentating on the world feed alongside the likes of Harsha Bhogle, Deep Dasgupta, Nick Knight, Kevin Pietersen and Murali Kartik, while Abhinav Mukund and Parthiv Patel will also do commentary in English.
