The second Test match between India and England has received updated session timings due to weather-related disruptions.
The Day 5 of the Test match has not started yet due to rainy conditions in Birmingham. The rain at Edgbaston has delayed the proceedings. India need 7 wickets to win while the English boys will have to score 536 runs.

The revised schedule aims to maximize playtime and ensure the match progresses smoothly despite earlier delays caused by rain or poor visibility. A total of 80 overs are set to be played on the final day of the match, if there is no further rain interruptions.
According to the updated schedule, play is set to commence at 12:40 PM local time. The day has been divided into three sessions to accommodate the lost time: the first session will run from 12:40 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by the second session from 3:10 PM to 5:10 PM, and the final session from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
It will be a total of 40 minutes reduced as the first session and third session will have 10 and 30 minutes less, respectively. The match shall also extend an hour beyond its scheduled time, and that is an added boost for the Indian team.
1st Session - 12:40 pm GMT to 2:30 pm GMT (5:10 pm to 7 pm IST)
Lunch: 7 pm - 7:40 pm IST
2nd Session - 3:10 pm to 5:10 pm GMT (7:40 pm to 9:40 pm IST)
Tea: 9:40 pm - 10 pm IST
3rd Session - 5:30 pm to 7 pm GMT (10 pm to 11:30 pm IST)
India currently trail the series 0-1 and will be desperate to restore parity in this Test series. At the moment, the first session has started and the Indian team will be hoping for an uninterrupted match from now on.
