Yashasvi Jaiswal on Saturday (February 3) slammed his maiden Test double century and in the process went on to become the third youngest Indian to reach the feat in the longest format.
The 22-year-old opener, who started the day unbeated at 179, achieved the feat during day 2 of the 2nd Test between India and England at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Jaiswal's knock of 209 included 7 maximums and 19 fours. He in fact got the his century on Friday (February 2) with a six off Tom Hartley, and got past the 200 with a six and a four off Shoaib Bashir in the morning session on day 2.
Jaiswal is only behind fellow Mumbai player Vinod Kambli and legendary Sunil Gavaskar in the list for youngest Indian to score a double century in Test cricket. Gavaskar achieved the feat in 1971, while Kambli got to the landmark in 1993.
Kambli, also a left-hander, had scored back to back double hundreds when he was little over 21 years old during home series against England and Zimbabwe. Gavaskar scored his first double ton in West Indies. Here is a look at the youngest Indians to score Test double hundred:
Jaiswal's stay was ended by James Anderson, but the opener contributed 209 off 290 balls before departing to an aggressive shot. His knock has put India in command with the total reaching 383/8 in 106.5 overs in Vizag.
