With series already sealed, Team India will aim for a whitewash and the winning momentum heading into Champions Trophy 2025 when they host England in the third and final One Day match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday (February 12).
After a 4-wicket victory in the series opener in Nagpur, Rohit Sharma led Men in Blue registered a comprehensive four-wicket win over Jos Buttler's side at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday (February 9) to claim an unassailable lead in the three-match 50-over series.

Skipper Rohit finally got amongst the runs with a 90-ball 119 knock that powered India past England's target of 305 with 33 balls to spare. Vice captain Shubman Gill also carried his form to score a 60 in the winning cause.
Earlier, Ravindra Jadeja once again carried his bowling rhythm ending with figures of 3 for 35 in his 10 overs as India restricted England t0 304 despite 60 plus scores from Ben Duckett and Joe Root.
Having lost the T20I series 1-4 and now trailing the ODI series 0-2, the visitors will look for some good fortune when the action shifts to Ahmedabad, where India has lost only once in their six previous 50-over outings.
The last time India played a 50-over match at the venue was the 2023 ODI World Cup final against Australia with the night ending on a disappointing note for the home side in front of a packed crowd.
