IND vs ENG 3rd ODI toss & playing 11: Mohammed Shami rested among three India changes, while England forced into one change as skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bowl first in the final match of the tour at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday (February 12).
Apart from pacer Shami, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also was rested by the Men in Blue with spinner Varun Chakravarthy missing out due to calf injury. Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav come in as almost like-for-like replacements into the playing 11 as India aim for a whitewash.

Trailing the series 0-2, England will hope for a consolation win in their final match on the tour ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025. The visitors also have been forced into a change with all-rounder Jamie Overton missing out due to a niggle.
Batter Tom Banton, who was brought in as young all-rounder Jacob Bethell's replacement, gets a chance in the England playing 11 as he look to audition for the ICC event, starting next week.
After winning the toss, England captain Buttler said, "(on worry of dew setting in) Little bit maybe, it may spin a bit later. We have batted first in the first two games so it will be a different experience today ahead of the Champions Trophy. It's a decent wicket, we played New Zealand in the World Cup a few years ago, it was a black soil pitch and it played better in the second half."
At wrong end of a record of losing the toss in 10 consecutive matches, India captain Rohit Sharma said, "I wanted to bat first and put runs on the board because we bowled first in the last two games. It was important for us to get a win in the last game."
On fielding in the first two ODIs, Rohit added, "The fielders portrayed themselves well in the last two games, a lot of young blood. We want to continue to do well in the field. (On Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy) They are pretty new in their careers so we want to keep the pressure away from them, let them do their own and they have got a lot of potential."
