IND vs ENG 4th Test: As anticipation builds for the fourth Test between India and England at Old Trafford, Manchester, a key question loomed over India's playing XI - will Jasprit Bumrah return for the crucial clash?
That question seems to have been answered, at least unofficially, by none other than his pace partner Mohammed Siraj.

In a recent interaction, Siraj confirmed that Bumrah will take the field for the Manchester Test. The pacer said, "Jassi bhai toh khelengey jitna pata hai!" (As much as I know, Jasprit Bumrah bhai will play). This statement should come as a huge relief to Indian fans, as for the first time, the star pacer will be featuring in back-to-back matches in the Test Series.
Bumrah has already made a significant impact in the series, playing the opening Test at Lord's and the third at Headingley. Across these two appearances, he has taken 12 wickets, including two five-wicket hauls, once again underlining his importance in India's bowling arsenal.
The decision to rest him for Edgbaston was in line with the team management's earlier communication - that Bumrah would feature in only three Tests during this five-match series. However, with the series delicately poised and the fourth Test being pivotal, India appear set to bring back their strike bowler.
Siraj, however, was non-committal when asked about the overall team selection. "I don't know much about the combination. Whatever will be chosen will be the best for the team," he stated.
Meanwhile, injuries continue to trouble the Indian camp. Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the series with a knee injury. Rishabh Pant is nursing a left-hand finger injury, Akash Deep is down with a groin issue, and Arshdeep Singh is unavailable due to a bowling hand problem. In response, uncapped Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj has been called up and is now with the squad in Manchester.
With Bumrah and Siraj both available, India's pace battery looks potent. The fourth Test begins on July 23, and all eyes will be on the team sheet when the players walk out.
