IND vs ENG: Shubman Gill was massively trolled after failing to convert yet another start in the first innings of the second Test in Visakhapatnam on Friday, February 2.
Shubman Gill scored 34 runs off 46 balls before losing his wicket to James Anderson who dismissed him for the fifth Test time in Test cricket. The Anderson delivery swung away a little as Gill edged one into the gloves of Ben Foakes.

The Punjab batter has now gone without scoring a fifty since his last 12 innings. He was dismissed for a duck in the second innings of the previous Test which India lost by 28 runs despite taking a 190-run lead.
Ever since Shubman Gill started to bat at Cheteshwar Pujara's number three spot he has registered scores of 6, 10, 29*, 2, 26, 36, 10, 23, 0 and 34. His underwhelming numbers have brought his Test spot under the scanner.
Shubman Gill's strike rotation has dropped significantly since starting to bat at number three. As an opener, Shubman Gill's strike rotation percentage was 27.4. The same dropped to 22.2 after he started to bat at number three.
The right-hander was trolled massively after another failure at the spot, and Test cricket in general. Many compared him with Yashasvi Jaiswal who smashed his second Test hundred in the ongoing Visakhapatnam Test.
Talking about the match, India opted to bat first after winning the toss. Rohit Sharma also managed to score 14 runs only but Yashasvi Jaiswal continued to keep the Indian scorecard moving.
The third-wicket partnership between Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer (27) accounted for 90 runs off 131 balls. The southpaw later partnered for 70 runs off 124 balls with Rajat Patidar (32).
