India's fast bowler Mohammed Siraj got Ollie Pope out lbw via DRS in a fiery morning session in the 3rd Test against England on Sunday (July 13).
England resumed 2/0, chasing a razor-thin 2-run lead after both first innings scores matched at 387. In the 12th over, Siraj pitched one sharply back in. Pope missed a confident block and was struck on the front pad. The on‑field umpire initially ruled "not out," but Siraj immediately appealed to captain Shubman Gill.

What followed set social media alight. Siraj urged Gill with conviction to take the DRS and convinced his captain to take it.
"Saamne hai bhai, height to hai hi nahi (It's plumb in front, there is no chance for height issue)" Siraj insisted, saying that the ball was low and aligned with the stumps.
Trusting his instincts and Siraj's fiery belief-no mean feat when reviews are precious-Gill opted to challenge. Hawk-Eye confirmed the appeal: three red lights, and Pope was sent back to the pavilion.
England dropped to 44/2, losing their anchor in Pope, and India seized momentum. Soon after that, Nitish Reddy struck to dismiss Zak Crawley and the hosts are now currently reeling at 62 for 3, with Joe Root and Harry Brook at the crease.
The fans hailed Siraj as his decision led India to get the crucial wicket of Pope. X was overwhelmed as netizens poured praises on the India pacer.
"Mohammed Siraj That was really a very good call for DRS. Well done Captain Shubman Gill to show the believe on him for this," a fan wrote.
Former India player Irfan Pathan also hailed Siraj for his magnificent spell, which saw the dismissal of two key batters.
