India captain Shubman Gill has kept fans guessing about the availability of Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant for the crucial 4th Test against England starting July 23 in Manchester.
With India trailing 1-2 in the five-match series, the presence of these key players is vital for the visitors to stay in contention.

Bumrah, India's leading pacer, was rested for the Edgbaston Test as part of workload management and is expected to feature in only three of the five Tests on this England tour. Head coach Gautam Gambhir had earlier confirmed this plan, but it remains unclear whether Bumrah will play the 4th Test or be rested again. Gill did not clarify Bumrah's status when asked, responding simply, "You'll get to know soon".
Rishabh Pant suffered a finger injury during the third Test at Lord's but scans revealed no major damage. Gill expressed confidence that Pant will be available for the Manchester Test.
"Rishabh went for scans. There is no major injury, so he should be fine for the fourth Test in Manchester," Gill said.
Pant had endured pain but still contributed with the bat in the Lord's match, reinforcing hopes of his return.
Apart from that, India are likely to make a few changes to the team. Mohammed Siraj, the highest wicket-taker in the series, along with Akash Deep, may continue to spearhead the attack. The Indian team slipped to 4th place in the WTC points table after the Lord's defeat, and will be hoping to restore parity in the series, which in turn will boost their position in the standings.
As India looks to bounce back and level the series, the final team selection for the 4th Test will be closely watched. For now, the status of Bumrah remains uncertain until the toss, while Pant is expected to be fit and ready to play.
