IND vs ENG: Kuldeep Yadav creates history for India in Test Cricket, No one has ever done Before!

Kuldeep Yadav's outstanding bowling figures led India to a strong position against England in Dharamsala on the first day of the fifth Test match.

On Thursday, Yadav achieved a five-wicket haul. His performance helped dismiss England for a mere 218 runs. The left-arm wrist spinner ended the day with an impressive figure of 5 for 72.

And doing so, Kuldeep Yadav has written his name to the history of the cricketing folklore, beating all the stalwarts of the game since the inception of Test cricket.

Yadav's achievement marked a significant milestone as he became the quickest bowler from the Indian cricket team to secure 50 Test wickets, considering the number of balls bowled. He reached this milestone in just 1871 deliveries. Following him in this achievement are Axar Patel with 2205 balls and Jasprit Bumrah with 2520 balls.

This event marked the first instance in India's Test cricket history where a bowler completed 50 Test wickets in fewer than 2000 balls.

Along with Kuldeep Yadav's magic, Ravichandran Ashwin also shone in his 100th Test. The veteran off-spinner picked up 4 wickets to decimate the English batters.

After bundling out England for just 218 runs, team India in the driver's seat at the end of first day's play. Both openers gave the hosts a solid start as India sti 135 for 1 at stumps. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma both scored half-centuries, while Jaiswal departed for 57 runs, Rohit Sharma is unbeaten on 52, along with Shubman Gill who is batting on 26.
