India all-rounder Nitish Reddy has suffered a knee injury and is set to be ruled out of the ongoing Test series against England.
The India player has now joined a long list of injured players for the visitors ahead of the 4th Test in Manchester, which starts from July 23.

Nitish Kumar Reddy sustained a knee injury while training in the gym on Sunday (July 20). Scans later revealed that he suffered ligament damage, putting his participation in the remainder of the England tour in serious doubt. The injury did not occur during a match or outdoor training session, but rather during a gym workout as part of his fitness routine.
The India all-rounder played the first match of the series at Edgbaston and has since done a moderate job. In the four innings with the bat, Reddy has scored 45 runs, while he picked up 3 wickets in the Lord's Test.
Apart from Reddy, India have Arshdeep and Akash Deep, who are likely to be ruled out as well. The left-arm pacer had a side strain while fielding, whereas Akash Deep is struggling with a hamstring issue.
This has come as a big blow for India, who are also managing the workload for Jasprit Bumrah. On the other hand, vice-captain Rishabh Pant also had a finger injury in the Lord's Test and is under doubt for the Old Trafford encounter.
Nitish Reddy's injury and subsequent unavailability means the India all-rounder is likely to be replaced by Shardul Thakur. The veteran played the first match and may be summoned again to replace the injured player.
India are trailing the series 1-2 and the next match will be crucial for them to stay alive in this Test series. Ahead of the Manchester Test, team India visited Manchester United players at their Carrington training ground.
