IND vs ENG: Pakistan-origin spinner Shoaib Bashir celebrated his debut Test match for England by taking the wicket of India captain Rohit Sharma on Day 1 of the second Test match against India in Visakhapatnam.
The 20-year-old off-spinner struck in his fourth over to dismiss Rohit Sharma who departed for 14 off 41. The ball spun sharply after pitching on off to surprise Rohit who edged the delivery into the hands of at leg slip.

The tall spinner celebrated the big debut wicket with a loud road. The wicket was Bashir's only 11th in first-class cricket. He was induced into the England playing eleven for the 2nd Test as a replacement for injured Jack Leach.
Notably, the Somerset spinner could not land with the rest of the England team in India due to visa issues. He had to fly back home from the UAE. The issue was resolved later, and Bashir joined the England squad ahead of the second Test.
Ben Stokes had praised Shoaib Bashir ahead of the second Test and said that his aim was to make the youngster's debut Test match a memorable experience for him.
"That is how I will be thinking about it, if he gets the chance to play: just to make sure I can give him the best experience I possibly can. Because you only play your first Test match once. If he does play, then I will be trying to make it as enjoyable and fun for him as I can," Stokes said
In an interview with ESPNcricinfo, Stokes also talked about the video clip of Bashir's spell to former England captain Alastair Cook during his debut first-class match. The spell impressed him so much so that he forwarded it in a WhatsApp group having head coach Brendon McCullum and director of cricket Rob Key.
"To be perfectly honest, Abu Dhabi was the first real live look I got at Bash," Stokes said. "The first time I saw him was on Twitter. I think the County Championship [account] put a little clip together of him bowling against Sir Alastair," Stokes told ESPNcricinfo..
India have won the toss and elected to bat first in the second Test against England. England won the first Test by 28 runs, and is leading the 5-Test series 1-0.
