IND vs ENG: Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja smashed his fourth Test hundred on his return from hamstring injury for India's third Test against England at his home ground in Rajkot.
On the final ball of the 82nd over, Ravindra Jadeja took a single off James Anderson by pushing the ball towards fine leg to bring up a solid hundred off 198 balls. The southpaw smashed seven fours and two sixes en route to his first Test hundred after July 2022.

Ravindra Jadeja had hit his first Test hundred at the same venue in 2018 against West Indies. Jadeja had scored 100 unbeaten runs off 132 balls in the match as India thrashed West Indies by an innings and 272 runs.
The innings from Jadeja at the Niranjan Shah Stadium was crucial on Thursday, as India were three down for 33 after electing to bat first. Jadeja joined forces with captain Rohit Sharma and stitched a 204-run partnership for the fourth wicket to bring the Indian innings on track.
This was also Jadeja's second Test hundred against England. The first one came back in Birmingham in July 2022. The 35-year-old's second hundred came back in Mohali against Sri Lanka in March 2022. He scored unbeaten 175 runs on that occasion.
Jadeja also forged a 77-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Sarfaraz Khan, who scored a 48-ball fifty but got run out in an unlucky fashion after a mix-up with Jadeja who was then batting at 99.
