India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy and batter Rinku Singh have sustained injuries ahead of the 2nd T20I in Chennai.
The selection committee have made this decision to add replacements following injury to Nitish Kumar Reddy. Shivam Dube, who was part of last year's T20 World Cup-winning team, will join the Indian team in Rajkot.

Initially, Dube was not selected for the T20 squad as selectors preferred Nitish Kumar Reddy and Hardik Pandya. However, with Reddy's injury, Dube gets another opportunity to showcase his skills. He had previously been sidelined due to a back injury but has since recovered.
Reddy, who was a revelation for India in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, has injured himself during training and is unable to continue in the series.
Dube recently played for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy against Jammu and Kashmir. Unfortunately, his performance at the Bandra Kurla Complex was below expectations, as he scored duck in both innings. Despite this setback, his inclusion in the T20 squad offers him a chance to redeem himself.
After recovering from his back injury, Dube participated in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Representing Mumbai, he contributed to their title win.
Rinku Singh has also been ruled out of the 2nd and 3rd T20I match due to a back spasm, which he suffered during fielding in the Kolkata match. The BCCI announced that Ramandeep Singh has been added to the squad as a replacement.

The Indian team has already secured a victory against England at Eden Gardens. They are set to play their second match in Chennai on Saturday. Following this, the third T20I will take place in Rajkot on Tuesday, with subsequent matches scheduled in Pune and Mumbai.
India's updated squad for the T20I series against England: Suryakumar Yadav (C), Axar Patel (VC), Sanju Samson (WK), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammad Shami, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Dhruv Jurel (WK), Shivam Dube, Ramandeep Singh.
