IND vs ENG Toss Result: India vs England 1st ODI Who Won Toss, Playing 11

India are set to lock horns against England in the first of the three-match ODI series today (Tuesday, July 14) at Edgbaston in Birmingham.

After their dismal whitewash in the T20I series, team India will be aiming to roar back in the 50-over format.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are both back and fit for the series as the India stars will be hoping to stabilize recent batting woes. Shubman Gill is set to captain the side, while Jasprit Bumrah returns in the 50-over format as well.

England won the Toss and elected to Bat first.

"The 11 we have today we are very happy to give a crack. We've struggled a little bit, but hopefully we can start performing consistently in the ODI format," England captain Harry Brook said.

"We were looking to bowl first. Most of them are playing T20s and others had a bit of training. The environment and vibe has been really good. Important series for us, little bit of similar to South Africa. We have to look for combinations and give game time to those who haven't got a lot of chance. Have some really good memories. Hopefully, we are gonna add into that," Shubman Gill said.
