IND vs ENG: Twitter Erupts as India beat England to qualify for T20 World Cup Final

India crushed England and won by 68 runs in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2024 on Thursday (June 27).

It was another scintillating performance from Rohit Sharma and his team as they rattled England with their elite bowling attack.

The rain-interrupted match had no shortage of action as India was put into bat by England. Despite Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant's wickets, captain Rohit Sharma played a sublime knock of 56 runs to give India a strong platform. Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya played crucial cameos and they reached 171 for 7 in the full quota of 20 overs.

England made a decent start to the run chase but Axar Patel dismantled them. The left-arm spinner picked up three wickets and put them on the backfoot. Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets while Kuldeep Yadav also got three wickets. England was bowled out for a paltry 103 runs as India booked their third final in the T20 World Cup.

Rohit Sharma's men will now take on South Africa in the Final on Saturday (June 29).
