The 34-year-old missed out on the record-equalling ton by just five runs in Dharamsala. Kohli is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the World Cup 2023. He has scored 354 runs and is behind South Africa's Quinton de Kock who has 407 runs from five matches. David Warner and Rohit Sharma are third and fourth on the list with 332 and 311 runs respectively.

Team India players had opted to stay back in Dharamsala after the 4-wicket win against New Zealand. After a 3-day break, they look set to get back on the field and gear up their preparations to make it six wins in a row on Sunday.

India will be Hardik Pandya once again as the pacer has yet not recovered from the ankle sprain he suffered while bowling in the match against Bangladesh. The star all-rounder is expected to rejoin the squad ahead of the match against South Africa or Netherlands.
