Akash Deep and another staff shouldered Pant as he stood up somehow, and then a buggy was called as the player was not in a condition to continue and left the field.

Will Rishabh Pant Play again in Manchester Test?

At the moment, predicting whether Rishabh Pant will play any part of this match is pretty premeditated as Rishabh Pant's shot. The India vice-captain is likely to be taken for further Tests and scans and only after that it will be revealed whether he will take part in this match again.

From the first look, the way he was struggling to work and the pain in his face suggest that the injury is vicious, but if there is no fracture, the Indian player may come in the latter stages of this game.

In the 3rd Test, Pant injured his left index finger while attempting to stop a delivery from Jasprit Bumrah. He was in visible pain, received on-field treatment, and eventually left the field. Dhruv Jurel took over wicketkeeping duties for the remainder of the match.

Pant got retired hurt at the personal score of 37 runs in 48 deliveries. India are currently 223 for 3 with Sai Sudharsan and Ravindra Jadeja at the crease in the 3rd session of the first day.
