India's wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has received an official reprimand for a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the Headingley Test against England.
The incident occurred during England's first innings, where Pant was deemed to have shown dissent towards the on-field umpires.

Pant, who has scored two centuries in two innings, hasn't escaped the law as he has been sanctioned by the apex body of World Cricket.
According to the ICC, Pant violated Article 2.8 of the Code, which pertains to "showing dissent at an Umpire's decision during an International Match."
This incident has resulted in the addition of one demerit point to Pant's disciplinary record - his first in the past 24 months.
The breach took place in the 61st over of England's innings when Harry Brook and Ben Stokes were at the crease. Pant appeared frustrated after the umpires declined his request to replace the ball, having examined it with the ball gauge. The 26-year-old responded by throwing the ball to the ground in visible dissent, an action that prompted the match officials to take note.
There was no formal hearing in the matter, as Pant accepted the charge and the proposed sanction without contest. The decision was handed down by match referee Richie Richardson of ICC panel, as confirmed by ICC.
Level 1 offences typically carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and can extend to a fine of up to 50 percent of a player's match fee, along with the addition of one or two demerit points.
