IND vs ENG: Will it Snow during India-England Dharamshala Test?

The juggernaut of India England Test series takes the final stop, and it is the picturesque Dharamshala which will host the 5th and Final Test match.

India have already clinched the series with an unassailable 3-1 lead, but Rohit Sharma's men would be hoping to finish it off in style to consolidate their WTC status.

Dharamshala

The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala will be hosting the match. The beautiful town in Himachal Pradesh brings an unrivalled natural beauty with it as the Dhauladhar range on the background is a treat to the eyes.

Sitting at an altitude of 1,457 metres, Dharamshala often faces harsh winter and snowfall along with it in the Winter seasons. Although we have officially entered Spring, temperature can still be chilly in this part of the globe.

And as the Test match starts, there is a concern about a potential dip in temperature, which can cause freezing conditions.

The match starts on March 7 and is scheduled to continue till March 11. Commentator Harsha Bhogle shared his snowfall concerns on social media and that has got everybody talking whether snowfall will hamper the match in Dharamshala.

Yes, a lowest of 2° C can be a cause for concern as a bit lower can mean sub zero temperature and snowfall.

IND vs ENG: Will it Snow in Dharamshala?

The 15-day forecast of Dharamshala shows the temperature will be circulating around a maximum of 22 and a minimum of around 7 degrees on the matchdays. We can expect the weather to get cold in the first couple of days, but it promises to be much more comfortable in the last few days of the match.

In terms of the snow concerns, we can surely say there will be none of that until a drastic weather change occurs. But there can be rain during the match. A moderate chance of rain (58% on Day 1, 45% on Day 2) is predicted in the first two days of the Test match in Dharamshala.
