IND vs ENG, World Cup 2023: Tushar Kebab? Dinesh Karthik corrects Eoin Morgan on Air as former England captain forgets Kebab Name

India and England are locking horns at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow in a crucial ICC World Cup 2023 match today (Sunday, October 29).

In a match which is crucial for the English team, they have started pretty well. India have lost early wickets after batting first, as Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli are back in the pavilion.

The Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli departed after scoring a duck of nine balls. And he mistimed a ball of David Willey and got caught at mid-off.

Speaking on the slow nature of the page, commentator Harsha Bhogle spoke about the tranquility and sereneness of the city of Lucknow itself. Lucknow is a city where life is not as fast-paced as compared to other metro cities or other venues cities of this World Cup.

And while speaking on Lucknow, Eoin Morgan, the former England captain heaped on praises on the hospitability of the city. He came to Lucknow for the first time and said the people were hospitable and the food was delicious. Morgan also said he had a platter of Kebabs last night but couldn't remember the name of it.

"It's a beautiful place. I arrived here for the first time from the UK yesterday evening. Very hospitable people and food here is lovely. Lovely platter last night, nice Kebab. I believe it was called Tukaar, Tushar Kebab?," Morgan said.

Then Dinesh Karthik, who was co-commentating with Eoin Morgan and Harsha Bhogle at that time, asked if it was Tunday Kebab. And the former England captain instantly exclaimed, "Tunday! Yes it was the Tunday Kebab".

It looks like the Lucknow hospitability has also charged the England cricket team. They have so far made a superb start as hosts India are struggling at 35 for 2 after 10 overs.
