Rinku Singh did not get an opportunity to bat in his rain-marred debut match for India but on Sunday after Ireland elected to field first, the 25-year-old got enough time to showcase his skills in the middle.
Coming to bat after the dismissal of Sanju Samson on the second ball of the 13th over, Rinku Singh endured a slow start to score his first 15 runs off 15 balls. However, he shifted gear in the 19th over to hit a four on the second delivery from Barry McCarthy, and then followed it up with two back-to-back sixes.

The Aligarh-born cricketer hit his third six on the fourth ball of the 20th over and got out on the next delivery while attempting to clear the boundary ropes once again. Rinku Singh scored 38 off 21 and lived up to his 'finisher' tag and propelled India to 143/4 in 18 overs to 185/5 in 20 overs.
Fans were ballistic after the knock from the Uttar Pradesh and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star. Here's how they have reacted.
