A colossal clash awaits as India take on New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025 final on Sunday (March 9) in Dubai.
India secured a fantastic victory over Australia in the semis while New Zealand prevailed over South Africa to qualify for the final.

Ahead of the final, reports are suggesting that India and New Zealand may will be playing on an already used turf in the Final. The ICC has allocated the pitch for the final which was already used in the match between India and Pakistan.
India's spin attack, featuring Varun Chakravarthy in exceptional form alongside Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel, has been instrumental in their success. Notably, India is the only team in the tournament to have bowled out all their opponents in each match.
The Dubai International Cricket Stadium boasts ten pitches. These surfaces are generally slow and offer significant assistance to spinners. For the upcoming final, a centrally located pitch, previously used over two weeks ago, will be employed again.
In the Champions Trophy 2025, India secured a commanding six-wicket victory over Pakistan in Dubai. Opting to bat first, Pakistan posted a total of 241 runs, with notable contributions from Saud Shakeel (62) and Mohammad Rizwan (46). India's bowlers, particularly Kuldeep Yadav who took 3 wickets for 40 runs, effectively restricted Pakistan's batting lineup.
Chasing 242, India faced early setbacks but stabilized through a crucial partnership between Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer. Kohli's masterful unbeaten century (100*), his 51st in ODIs, anchored the innings, while Iyer contributed a valuable 56 runs. This effort led India to their target in 42.3 overs, solidifying their position at the top of Group A and virtually assuring a semi-final berth.
